Amanda Davis, M.A., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist



Amanda is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist in the state of California with 10 years experience. She earned her bachelor’s degree studying Communicative Disorders in 2008 at San Diego State University, where she also acquired her master’s degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. In 2010, Amanda joined the team of speech-language pathologists at Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) treating general education and special education students of working-class families in South Central, Los Angeles. Amanda has had the opportunity to work with a diverse population exhibiting a variety of developmental and communication needs for clients aged 18 months-88 years in person and online. Amanda is also experienced in exploring in low-tech and high-tech methods of augmentative alternative communication (AAC) for individuals with the most severe communication disorders and was appointed positions as Lead AAC Specialist and AAC Consultant in several settings. In 2012, Amanda developed SpeakEasy, to provide easier access to speech-language assessment and treatment services.



Joseph Armsberger, SLPA
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant



Joe has practiced as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the state of California since 2014, practicing evidenced based speech-language therapy techniques in-person and via telehealth with people of all ages and abilities. In clinical and school settings, Joe has conducted individual and group speech-language treatment sessions in accordance with therapy goals designed by an speech-language pathologist (SLP) and identified in their Individual Education Program (IEP). Joe is a talented clinician who is able to use a variety of evidenced based practices to facilitate progress towards our clients' goals. In 2017, Joe recognized the need to provide easier access to quality speech-language services, as many in the community were falling through the cracks, missing out on the opportunity for a better quality of life. He wanted to join SpeakEasy’s mission to make access to speech-language services easier. When SpeakEasy naturally transition into telehealth services, Joe discovered that his talent easily transferred into a digital format. He is dedicated to assist each client make communication easier, gain confidence, build relationships, and live better.
